Best time to plant things (fruit) #865703

Hi, I just bought a blueberry bush and an apple tree. Is it OK to plant them now even though the weather is cool? I'm planting the blueberry bush in a pot.

Hi Keisha, Thanks for the question.

Both the blueberry and apple tree are normally planted in early to mid-spring. Now that you are past your average last frost and with the warmer temperatures (warming the soil) there is little risk of a freeze that could cause significant harm. There is always some risk planting in spring.  Check out the following links:
