Yellow invasive grasses #863525

Asked April 06, 2024, 10:36 AM EDT

We have a light green/yellow grass spreading in our lawn. I’ve been told there is no chem spray only dig it out and reseed . Is this the case? We are in Canby

Clackamas County Oregon

It looks like annual bluegrass. Prograss is a possible herbicide to spray for selective control. However, it will take multiple applications to be effective. The other option is spot spraying with Roundup and then reseeding or sodding these areas...  As you stated you can also dig these areas out and resod or seed.
