We have what looks like mushrooms in our lawn. They appear overnight, are creme colored for a day then turn black. Stepping on them leaves a thick black goo on shoes. What causes them and how can we get rid of them.
What is the difference between a fungus and bacteria related to plant diseases?
I was picking some green beans (bush variety) today and noticed a plant that had two stems of white leaves and the rest were normal green leaves. What causes this? It didn't have these leaves until recently as this is the fourth or fifth time I have picked beans.
While I was picking green beans today, bush variety, I noticed this plant. It has white leave and green leaves growing on the same plant. The plant seems healthy and is blooming and producing beans. The white leaves didn't appear until recently as this is the fourth or fifth time I have picked beans this year and hadn't noticed the white leaves before. I was curious if my plant was sick or if it means I need to fertilize?
I have some 3-4 foot tall evergreen trees that i want to move to a different location. Is Sept./Oct. a good time to do this or is it better to do this in the spring? Thank you.
