Some of my peonies suffer as follows: The bushes stay small (about 8" to 12") in height while others are normal height about 3' high. The leaves on the small ones turn a reddish brown and they do not bloom. Is there a cure for this or should I destroy these plants. Thanks. Richard Watkins email@example.com
Hi I have about a 1600 sq ft basement finished with berber carpet house was built 1997 it took on ground water in 2001, It had just enough water to saturate it for almost 2 mos. we kept wet vacing it the whole time and had service master come in at the end and clean and sanitized the whole basement they said the carpet would be OK. and it seemed to be thank God, Now its been under about a inch and a half of water for about three weeks now so im wondering if it wiil survive this one ? or should I start taking it out? the carpet is glued down and no padding which saved it the first time I've rented a commercial dehumidifier running for three weeks along with commercial fans but starting to smell anyway question is should I try to save it or start ripping it out? Thank-You In advance for your input!!

a motor home from N.W. Illinois spent winter at edge of desert, Arizona. Back in Ill., parked inside a building owner later found a snake skin on floor, pretty positive identified that of a mojave rattler that may have "caught a ride" to Ill. If so, can that snake survive in Illinois?
We were already to plant 4 of these trees when the neighbor across the street informs us that the trees are harmful to horses and can cause horses to become anemic and can cause death is this true?

I bought a half bushel of tomatoes from a farm market that were put in cold storage, 50 degrees.. They are partially ripe. Will they continue to ripen at room temperature? Also, approximately how long should it take?
