Hydrangeas with faded flowers

My hydrangeas were a riot of blue, pink and purple in spring. Now in July they have lots of blooms but no color. Mostly light green and white

Snakes in the road

I was driving down Hwy 95 in middle of day in GA a month or so ago, and suddenly came upon a group of snakes in my lane. There were more than 20. Less than 40. They were black and very long. All were wiggling, making S shapes in place. It didn’t seem like they were getting anywhere but it all happened very quickly so I can’t be sure. Have you ever seen that? How would they even get there alive? They were all together in middle lane only. All seemed to be wiggling into the S shape. None seemed dead. Cars were all around. Why would they all be together like that? At the time, I thought “they must have just fallen out of a car in front of me” but that doesn’t really seem plausible. Just so curious. It was like a scene out of a movie.

Freeze flower seeds?

1) I was given a lot of flower seeds in packs that I will not be able to plant this year. How can I save them for another year? What do you suggest? I have heard that I could refrigerate or freeze them. If yes, please give details: temperature, how long, etc?
2) I also have a lot of zinnia and marigold seeds from my garden last year. They are very dry but am now keeping them in a hot garage. How do I store them?
Thanks!
