Autumn Fern cold damage

I'm assuming that cold has damaged autumn fern. Stems are bent, not broken, but definite bend and drooping. Should I cut off? Will they come back? Dee Ogletree, 305 Misty Valley Way, Canton, GA 30114

How many horses per acre in Cherokee County?

Hello! I have two horses and am wondering if there are any regulations for the number of horses per acre in Cherokee County? I have been told one acre per horse and I have been told two acres for the first horse and one acre for each additional horse. Thank you in advance for your time.

Anthracnose in Bloodgood Red Maple

We think we have diagnosed a bloodgood red maple as having an anthracnose fungal infection. Over a few days the leaves curled and turned brown, then fell. A Mississippi Extension article recommends doing nothing for maples other than fertilizing unless it's a new planting or a weak tree; that dormant buds will push out new leaves and it'll be fine next year. Others say treat with a copper-based fungicide. Can you help us determine the better treatment? Thank you, Gregory Douds

ROSE BUSHES

I have a rose bush that I had in a planter for a year before putting in the ground. toward the end of last summer, the bush appeared to "DIE". Stalks dried and died. Lost all leaves. About a month ago, I noticed that there five new BUSHES growing in the pot. Two appear to be attached to the stump. Three are separate from the stump and are independent of the main plant. I want to take these out and put in large planters to give them room to grow. Since these a dark purple flower, REALLY want to keep them alive. How can I move them? I can amend the soil in the large(approx. 24" diam.)planters. your help is appreciated.
