Yoshino Cherry Tree Gum on bark
I planted my Yoshino Cherry two years ago and it has been doing great until recently (approximately 12ft tall now). This spring i noticed the bark was bleeding a little (about mid way up the trunk), but did not think much of it. Recently, with all this rain it seems to have spread even more and the gum is soft to the touch (it was hard before). The leaves are also getting bronze spots, but i am not sure if that may be a result of lack of sunlight these past few weeks. I was hoping that you may have an answer to resolve these issue. I provided some pictures to help illustrate what i am talking about. Thank you for your time.

Maple tree turning black
My sugar maple tree truck has turned black, there are little holes all in a line around the trunk and all up the trunk. Can it be saved or should I cut it down. Tks

Canning frozen green beans
Had a couple of batches of blue lake green beans come in but really not enough for a canner load each time. Rather than canning half a canner, someone mentioned I could freeze them then can them at a later time. I did this now several people are saying I cannot can them. I would hate to lose them, I loose power where I live all the time sometimes up to weeks at a time. Is it too late to can those beans? Thanks!

Last year's amaryllis
After my water-grown amaryllis finished blooming last year and withered, I potted it. It has grown 6 beautiful big leaves and I did fertilize it. What do I do now? Will it bloom if I do nothing, or do I have to put it in a dark room and discontinue watering?

Stella D'Oro Day Lilies
Although they bloom just fine, the leaves are mostly yellow and brown. It's been very dry so I don't think it's fungal. Could it be fertilizer related. I used Miracle Grow Organic for Flowers in late spring. Do they need something else or a different type?
