Needle cast disease in Ponderosa Pine
I am originally from Oregon and now live in central Virginia (hot and humid). I have a 12-year old ponderosa pine that has been doing well, but that now I'm reasonably certain is suffering from needle cast or Elytroderma deformans fungus. No one here is familiar with this fungus or ponderosa pines. Could you please advise course of treatment. Great sentimental value for me. Thanks!

Is this fungus or blight on my beech tree?
Two branches of my beech tree are covered with some kind of white growth [photo attached]. Some kind of ooze is dripping onto the ground below the affected branches. Is this serious? What can I do?

My cucumbers partially turned blue during canning
Actually, I am asking this for a cousin who is in the process of making pickles. She sent me a picture of the cucumbers and you can see the splotches of blue that formed. I've attached a copy for you. Should she toss the off-colored pickles or do you need more information. Thanks
