What is this insect?
I found this caterpillar on my pepper plant. I think it a Polyphemus moth caterpillar. It looks like a photo I found online. But what are the white (eggs)??? A parasite maybe, but what? I think they are parasitic wasps. This little guy does not seem happy. Is there a way to help it? Or is it too late?

Bloody toes
I have 3 adult guineas: 2 female, 1 male, all 1-2 yrs old. My females often peck at their toes where the nail meets the skin and make them bleed. I think I saw the male yesterday pecking at one of the bloody toes. The girls are in much pain. The wounds heal and then it starts over again. It's only the outer toes so far.
Any idea what is causing this and how do I treat them ( I've trained them pretty well in some things, but they DONDO want me to touch them)?
The picture attached is from one I found online. When my girls peck, the toes swell A little, I assume from infection.
