Spider Type.

I have these spiders around my window and they do not get very big but there is a large quantity. Since they have shown up I have woken up to large almost misquote looking bites. I don't know if they are the cause or not. But I would like to know what they are and how to get rid of them.

Tree borers

I have a Lacy oak that appears to have damage from some type of insect. I'm guessing that these are borers. How can I kill these insects. Will this tree survive if I kill them? See attached photos. Also a problem on a Burr oak. Both trees planted from a container 2 years ago. Thanks. Terry Clark

Mexican Plum Tree

I have a Mexican Plum tree that has been in the ground for two years. It has yet to produce the spring flowering blooms or bear fruit. The tree appears to be healthy. The peach tree next to it, which has been in the ground for one year is bearing an abundance of fruit. I live in Weatherford. Also, I fertilize in the spring with 13-13-13. Please advise me what to do to encourage this tree to produce fruit. Thanks so much!

Fast growing trees for Parker County, Texas

I am moving back to the Parker County area for retirement. My family land where I will be building a house is currently an old peanut/watermelon/cantaloupe field, so there are no trees. I would like to plant trees this fall that are medium to fast growing but can withstand the heat. What are your suggestions.
Thanks

Meyer lemon

I have a Meyer lemon tree that has quite a bit of established fruit. It still puts on an occasional blossom but when the fruit gets to about marble size it turns and falls off. Is it the North Texas heat or something else. We water daily and feed about once a week. Thanks

Crabgrass control on bermuda grass

I live in Dennis tx (sw of Weathrford) and have bermuda grass (tiff 419). When are the best times of the year to apply crabgrass pre-emergent. It's a constant battle. I've been told February and September. Thanks
