I live in Kirbyville Texas. I planted 11 Pecan trees in January this year and I am watering them daily with a 5 gallon bucket with two small holes drilled in them. The question I have is. My trees keep going thru cycles of growing several leaves and then they shrivel up and die. One tree is bent over and looks like its dead, but the others are standing tall but have no leaves. So are the trees dying? am I not watering them enough, too much?. I have recently started saturating the ground around the trees while watering with the slow release bucket method. We have three young fig trees just planted this spring. All three have been looking healthy, but, now one of the tree's leaves are turning yellow and falling off. They are watered regularly, have been fertilized when planted but now, I'm afraid we will lose all of them. Can you please give me some imput on this concern. Thanks, Phyllis McCann
Last year my satsuma tree developed a black fungus. What and when should I spray it this year? Before pruning or after?
