Re: Untreated Well Water

Knowing what health problems untreated well water may cause when consumed. What can I use to make our well water safe to use in our garden? We use it on our lawn at this time.

Can these scratches be fixed without changing the entire bumper?

My wife was hit on her rear bumper. Trying to avoid claiming on insurance. I went to 2 estimates and one says can only be fixed by changing entire bumper one says can just repaint. The one that says need to be replaced says it's because of the cracks. But cracks are just in paint. Need another opinion. thank you

Zoysiagrass Recommendations

I am planning on sodding an area of my lawn that is about 50% full sun and 50% partial shade. Zoysiagrass seems to be an attractive candidate for this residential application considering its drought and heat tolerance that is necessary in Midland, TX. Other than information on leaf size and maintenance, I have found it difficult to determine which variety is best suited. Empire and Emerald seem to be the most common in this category. Also, I'm not completely sure that either variety of Zoysia is more advantageous than Celebration Bermuda. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Yapon berries

Can the Yapon tree be sprayed to keep the berries from blooming. We have a tree on the patio which draws birds which results in droppings on the patio.

Grapes

What is safe to use on grapevines for tiny, barely seeable, bugs that fly, aphids and a fuzzy looking stuff that causes the leaf to die quickly. It is already approaching 100 degrees most days here now and my grapevines look like they may die as this has spread quickly. I would prefer an organic remedy if possible.
