Are these two seeds appropriate to plant together to attract butterflies? When and how should they be planted?
Hi, I live in Lake Jackson on the gulf coast. I have two red maples in my back yard. The trees are doing well and are 10 yrs old. For the last two growing seasons the roots are Showing around the base of the trees. Should I cover them with a mulch, sod or dirt?

I have about two acres, upon which my horse and two miniature cows graze. It seems that some sort of grass (looks like St. Augustine) has taken over much of the pasture, and it doesn't seem to be growing. I need to do something to make the pasture more graze-able. Do I need to plow it under and reseed it, or is there an easier, cheaper solution?
Will nesting night crowned herons cause my oak trees to die? My neighborhood street is lined with
mature live oak trees that have served herons for a number of years. This past year, so many herons
nested in our trees that it now seems to be a rookery. There were three nests in one of my oak trees,
hatching 9-10 babies.... and attended by adults. Mr. Hawk set up shop with his family, also. Was very interesting, but we don't want to lose the trees.
Most of my neighbors had several nests, also. Should we be concerned?

Hi I have a female orb spider who has made my house her home. She has been here for over a month and not been a bother. I see now that she has an egg sac. Should I worry about how many spiders she will have?? will they be dangerous to
children or pets? Thanks!
