What would you recommend to get rid of bed bugs?

We just found out we have bed bugs. We cannot afford an exterminator as we are on a fixed income. We did get some spray for them called Bug Max by Enforcer. My sister stayed with us and the people she was staying with have them and now we do! Do you think the foggers for them would work? Would you recommend that? I would really appreciate it if you have any info for me and my husband.

How can I get rid of rats?

Since I've been told by my local feed store that the EPA no longer will let them sell rat poisoning, what can I use to get rid of them? I've set traps but I'd like to do more.

As her 4-H project, my granddaughter is making a short formal dress to wear for her school’s winter formal. The fabric is satin. It has a simple gathered skirt. Everything I found on line suggests a rolled hem, but they are always showing floor length gowns. What I have seen in stores have a regular 2inch hem. Which is correct or preferred?

I live in Portsmouth, Ohio and there are herds of deer that travel through...

I live in Portsmouth, Ohio and there are herds of deer that travel through the wooded areas in and around town. I live in a wooded area in town (7 acres). This year I have a small group of deer who have elected to live near my home. There is a mother deer, who recently (within the past week or two) had two baby foals and there are two younger deer (her now two year old foals I believe). Q. 1 Is there birth control that can be administered to them? Q. 2 How likely is it that a deer would attack a person? In the past couple of days the mother deer has twice become aggressive with two of my dogs. Knocking them over with her front legs and pouncing on them after she knocked them over. The dogs were barking at her but not attacking her and the foals were not present. Both dogs are ok, but she has begun to walk toward me and I'm a bit concerned that she will get aggressive with me. I have never tried to approach any deer or any other wild animal. There are fox, racoons, possums, coyotes and deer on the property, along with feral cats, various rodents, snakes, turtles and rabbits. No bears yet on my property, but there have been bears inside the city limits the last few years. Q. 3 Should I be concerned she will attack me and what should I do if she tries to come toward me?
