I have a Blue/Gray mold that is on shrubs and trees in my yard (i believe it was what killed one tree and one shrub this year). Could you identify this for me please and is there any way i can remove it because it has now spread to my apple tree and pines.

Ninebark and horses? Is ---specifically--Amber Jubilee ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius 'Jefam') ok to plant near, not in, a horse pasture? Is it toxic to them? I have not been able to find any results anywhere. Thanks

I want to schedule the cleaning of my outdoor air conditioning unit after the cottonwoods finish dispersing their "cotton." I live in North Ridgeville, OH. Can you give me a ballpark range of starting and ending dates for cottonwood seed dispersal in this area? Thank you.

Quercus bicolor fungus perhaps

I have a Q. bicolor that is app. 5 yo. It has grown "something" toward the distal end of a lower small branch. The diameter of the twig is about 1/8". The diameter of the growth is app. 3.5" The growth is of a yellow-orange color, somewhat like a cantaloupe, mostly. It resembles a stunted corn ear, as it has large corn-kernel-like projections evenly about its circumference. These projections are about as hard as the twig.

Is this a serious problem for this tree? Does it endanger other Q. bicolor around it (app. 25-50').

I don't know much more. Can you help me? Please email for any further description.
