I have a question about peaches. On the inside of a peach, there are some strings next to the seed. At the tip of the strings on some peaches I see what looks like small white balls. They look somewhat like mold but are not. These small balls are only inside the more mature peaches. My concern is if they would be toxic or tainted. The peaches are not rotten.

I have a fairly large attractive buckeye tree in my yard with a forked trunk. The two trunks above the fork are each about 10-12 inches in diameter abd I'm afraid that the tree may eventually split at the fork. What recommended methods could I use to permanently brace the two forks to help assure they don't split in the future? Thanks, John

I am developing a small vineyard in Harrison county Ohio. I currently have about 500 vines and 3500 feet of trellis. My question: What pre-emergent herbicide (to control annual weeds) is a good product to use in conjunction with Glyphosate for emerged weeds under the canopy?

If you freeze meat raw, thaw in the fridge, cook, freeze again and then thaw. Serve and freeze left overs. Is the 3rd freezing detrimental to the nutrients and flavor of the meat?

I have Granny Smith apples. They are not rotten but there is a fair amount of brown on the outside. There seems to be a lot of wax on the apples. They taste fine, not real crisp. Are they good to eat>
