Is this just not darkened yet?
Also, this one was found ripped to shreds on the back porch. What may have done this?
Is this a type of rhubarb? Can you eat it?
I am not sure if you can help, but I'm not sure where to ask or who to get a hold of, so I thought I would try here. It is reguarding 4-H projects. My daughter is planning on taking Dairy Goats next year, and I was looking into her also taking a soap making project so she could make soap with the goats milk, however, soap making isn't a project. I am not sure who I can speak with about maybe coming up with a project for this.
Hello, I have a bad case of an invasive weed. It was identified as wirestem muhly. It came from the surrounding woods and has overtaken our pasture grass. Our local farm supply store had no solution. We live in carroll county, ohio. Do you know of any herbicide that will kill this and not the grass? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Paul Rich
Did the cicadas make these spots on this maple tree?
What would be the best kind of grape vine to plant at our new home? Would a partial transplant of our current vine work?

Would like to ID the attached plant. It was found in Carroll County, near the edge of the woods in sunny locations. It roots along mutliple spots on the vine, does not wrap and does not get longer than approximately 3 feet in length. Seen in the area for the first time last year and appears to be spreading this year. Is it a native or an invasive species? We have additional pictures if needed. Thank you for the help.

Hello, Slowly over this growing season a type of grass is taking over my 2 small horse pastures. This grass has been present in small qualities for several years but is growing like crazy now. The horses do not eat it and I fear if I allow it to continue I will not have a pasture at all. My concern is getting rid of it without damaging the rest of the pasture. I keep my pastures mowed, every few years I will hand seed and fertilize. I have used pasture pro with a hand sprayer to spot treat certain areas a few times over the last 10 years. Last year I applied it to one entire pasture. This is the pasture with the biggest problem. Could that have been the cause? I do not have access to large farm equipment to till and start over. What is this grass and how do I get rid of it safely? I have uploaded a picture to aid in identification. Please help. Thank You. Barbara.
