Hi- Have always heard that we should start putting out HummingBird feeders as of Tax Day (April 15th) and so we did on April 12th this year. Despite some 80 degree days, we have seen NO hummingbirds yet. We're getting worried. Do you have any advice or insight into the lack of birds so far? Or are we just running late this year?

A while back I had a PDF from you guys on equine pasture management , with information that gave guidelines on land loading in the from on lbs of livestock per acre, along with tips on mowing techniques and nutrition. Any chance you happen to know where that went from your site?

Can you please identify the problem(s) with my red raspberries? They are new problems as of this year. Thank you. Oops- seems I can only send one photo, so I guess only one problem...

Hi, I have a question about detecting mold in a home. I do not see anything growing on the walls but remember when changing wallpaper about 9 years ago seeing what appeared to be mold or some kind of black/dirty substance under the old wall paper. At the time, I washed the walls down with Bleach water before putting up new wallpaper. My kids are constantly fighting coughs and runny nose all year with no apparent "allergy season". My sister suggested it could be mold. Who can I get or how do I check to see if it is present in my home? Where can I get products to clean it with? Thank you for your time.

I have spread fertilizer, per soil sample recommendations, for corn and beans on land that from 30 to 35 days later has now been under water for 2-3 days from resent flooding of a near by river. Some portions had flowing water most had back water. How much of that fertilizer could I expect to still be there? 5 27 30 blend was spread at various rates over near 200 acres total. Some was spread and disc/finished in (two different tools) and some was on ground that at the same time frame got a pass of 2,4-d glyphosate for no-till prep. The portion of potash described would have been the total needed for the year. The phosphate will be supplemented with 10 34 0 2x2 at planting to meet various needs. I have also set up a separate system to put pop up fertilizer on row with three different materials, one being 10 34 0, Any thoughts or recommendation will be appreciated on how I might proceed in getting fertility to this crop.

Good morning. You guys were incredibly helpful over the summer with a bug question, and I have another one. The background... We rent out our old house in SE Ohio. Over the summer, tenants moved out who had had bed bugs. We had the place heat treated, and they also sprayed a chemical. That didn't solve the problem, so they came back and did a second treatment in August. I assumed everything was good when we hadn't seen anything, but this last week we found bed bugs in our Columbus home. The exterminator thinks the infestation is 4-6 weeks old which fits the timeframe of when me and my three kids last slept in the SE Ohio house. I went last weekend to set a homemade dry ice trap to see if there was anything there, but didn't catch anything. Looking around, however, I found the attached images. I want to know, could these be insect egg? The plank flooring was laid in August after the last heat treatment and I can't figure out what those white things are. Ty. H.
