Tillage Type(Daikon?) Radish Desiccation

To whom it may concern, We have started growing tillage radishes for the cover crop seed market here in Eastern NC. We desiccated our radishes with 64 oz/ac of generic glyphosate. We harvested them 2-3 weeks after desiccation. After harvest we sent a germ sample to our state seed lab and it came back with a 44% germ and the comments were the primary roots were too short. My question is : Did the use of Glyphosate as a desiccant cause the low germination and short primary roots? Also what herbicide is best for use as a desiccant in radish seed production?

Reblooming gladiolus

Lat year I planted several dozen gladioli (all different colors), they all bloomed wonderfully. My favorite flower. I live in NE North Carolina and was told that I do not need to dig them up in the fall. So I left them in the ground. This year, they are all coming up and growing perfectly - just as they should. Now they are starting to bloom and they are all coming up the same color purple. What happened to all the color?
