Age appropriate

when would it be age appropriate for a child to draw what is being discussed.
If we are talking about water and sand, when would it be appropriate to ask them to draw a picture of a beach/water and sand and expect them to. Of three children aged 4/5 in my group today, 1 drew a picture of water and one drew a rainbow and one drew grass with smiley faces.

Deadly or Not?

I just discovered this brown colored spider. Was wondering if it’s the brown recluse or venomous at all?

What ratio of vinegar to water is safe for brine pickling olives? Do I need a canning method, heated ball jars etc. while olives are in the vinegar -non sodium brine?

Head cut for 1st level espalier lateral branching

Hi,

I've attached a photo of one of my Asian pears trees. I would like to train it into espalier. Would I head the tree back to the red line and that would encourage 2 circled parts to grow as the first level (1 left, 1 right) lateral branches?

Thanks

I have a dwarf blueberry bush growing in a large container. I have noticed white (crumbly) material on multiple stems especially near the junction of branches. While I have had these in the past, the problem seems to be getting worse. I have pruned off effected branches. I have seen this issue in spring, summer and fall. Any ideas for what this is and how to treat? Thanks.

What is this plant?

The plant in the attached photo sprouted a couple of months ago when I dampened some soil for a poinsettia. I'm sure curious to find out what it is but it is very slow growing even though it gets afternoon sun. The largest leaf is 1.5" long on longest dimension.
I hope you are well and functioning!
Thanks
