Japanese Umbrella Pine turning brown in some sections and deteriorating accordingly!

Hello, I have recently purchased 2 (winter green) Japanese Umbrella Pine trees that started turning dark brown on some portions or the tree (3-gallon containers) before I even had them planted! Once planted, they appear to have deteriorated further with most of the tree now looking brown with some sections still green!
I planted with acidic pellets to help give the soil a more acidic quality, which I know they do well in.
I water routinely as they were recently planted this Spring.
Any suggestions as to what I am missing would be greatly appreciated as they are prized trees if they live!

Spring Peeper

Hi,
My girlfriend puts her plants out during the summer and brings them in when it gets cold.
This year a Peeper came in with a plant.
She is trying to maintain the creature until spring and then release it.
What is the best actions to take.
Can we just put it in some soil covered with leaf litter and put it say in her garage (unheated) until spring? Will the animal go into hibernation being in a cold environment?
Please advise. We live in New Hampshire. Thanks.

Walnut tree planting

Hi. I received two walnut tree seeds (they are more like golf balls) as a wedding present and would like to plant them on my land here in New Hampshire. I have a yard and some woods, and am wondering where to plant them, how to do it, and how to make sure they grow. Help!
Thanks so much!

If a horse is fit and healthy, how long should you ride him, (In a walk, trot, canter.) How often should you walk him out? For 1-2 min, or more like 10?
