Silver Leaf Maple Trees

Our Silver Leaf Maple trees have these (eggs?) on the top part of the leaf. We also see that part of the trees, mostly at the top, have dead branches left with no leaves.
Any suggestion on what to do??

My kale has a lot of holes in the leaves. Loosely round in shape. on the underside of the kale are lots and lots of round yellow, greenish round balls which are very small-probably eggs, I am thinking. What is your diagnosis and how can I treat it next year?

Plum Trees

I have two Mount Royal Plum trees about 6-7 years old. The last 2 years I have harvested large quantities of plums. I have been told that the trees will only produce a couple of more years. Is that true?

Sooty blotch and misshapen apples

We have a couple of Apple trees at our home here in Edgerton MN. 1 tree is a 8-10 year old Honey Crisp, and the other tree is an older 25+year old Wealthy. (We think) The last couple years we have had these spots which I am assuming are sooty blotch on our apples and wondering if their is a “cure” for this? Also our apples are quite “wormy”, and have a misshapen, lumpy appearance. We have been putting a jug of a natural mixture of vinegar, honey and banana peal in a gallon jug in our trees to try control but it doesn’t seem to be working. The tracks and wormy spots in our apples just seem to be getting worse each year. Any tips or us? Thank you in advance!
Sincerely, Jan Fey

On the west side of my house is a large old group of peonies planted. I would like to eliminate these and re-do the flower bed where they are. What suggestions can you give me to assist in their removal, short of bringing in a mini track hoe because they are so old and so deep in the soil. Thank you, Bob Lewis
