The photo I attached is of my maple tree. Other than this not too attractive trunk, it seems healthy. Should I be concerned?
A resident of our county brought in several samples of some insects that looked like (dragon crawlers) Lady bug beetles the next day when I went to I.D. them , overnight they hade turned into whitish colored beetle forms with several black dots on the back some dots connecting into cheveron de sign with double rows of black spots above and below the cheveron lines. Today just when I think their dead (again) Low and behold 2 are moving and one of them is now turning pale green in color and I count 14 separate black spots and 2 white spots on the black part of its head. Anyone know what kind of lady beetle this is? good or bad.

I have no idea what this is. when I took this picture it was 1 of 8 sitting on the counter of the store I run. and I had just set down a pliers two min before and they weren't there. I took about 8 pictures and from first to last picture they went from 8 to 13. in about a minute. And I was standin right there takin pictures and I didn't notice until I reviewed the pictures. there's more to the story which just makes it one of the freakiest things I've witnesses first hand. my friend roger was there to je saw what I saw but he claims they come from a plant. but we are downtown Alexandria. not even a tree within 2 blocks. And they just happened to all float into my store 30ft to the counter and all landed together in about an 8 inch diameter area facing the same direction. one even was underneath a q-tip that been sitting there for days. then 5 more appear as I'm standin there. so if I sound crazy I'm cool with that. A lot strange things happen in that store.
