I have a huge cherry laurel tree in my backyard that has dropped a gazillion cherries on the ground. The grass in my backyard appears more thin and brown than ever and upon inspections, the ground is covered with dried cherries. Are the cherries having any effect on my grass? Do they keep the grass from growing in any way? I will probably have the tree cut down but wanted to know if I should rule out the cherries as the cause of the decline. My backyard has a lot of shade and but it has never looked this bad. Thanks for your help

Where would I purchase apple trees for growing in Florida, such as: Anna, Tropic Sweet? I live in Pinellas .
I have had little success in planting native milkweed from seed. Perhaps I should try moist paper towels to start the sprouts, then plant?

Hi, new to gardening. Just getting started and downloaded app for Florida fresh. I noticed there are a lot of what I understood to be cool weather crops like cabbage, Brussels etc...under plant now. I am uncertain given the heat of summer in swfl if things won't get scorched. Any guidance is appreciated.

Using the app I'm given many options for planting now. Your external website seems to contradict this information.
