I'm a graduate student at Wright State looking to generate a study in rural northwest Ohio. It is closely related to Dr. Ferry's work in Pennsylvania.

grass seed, Colorado?

As an alumni of CSU, I thought of asking you folks...what is good grass seed type to plant in Fall for Colorado? (Denver area) I planted some fescue and other "hardy" types last Fall, all died!
Thanks! Go Rams!

Asian stink type bug

Saw a piece on TV earlier this year on these bugs and that OSU was leading a way to handle them. We thought we found some this spring and all summer some were similar but obviously Juveniles. Today I caught an adult with the light and dark edges around the wings and antenna with the white section between the 2 dark pieces. Am sure it is that bug and my Asian Pear and apple crops certainly shows the signs that it has been here with deformation of the fruit. We live in Tualatin, Washington County. Any suggestions for reducing or eradicating this pest?

What attacked my tomatoes after the storms let up?

See attached pics, they were devouring healthy tomatoes. They also flew.
9/16" long + head, 3/8" wide, 1/4" thick. As many as 15 eating some tomatoes at the same time, not on other plants, survive direct spray with Sevin.
